The Outreach and Beautification Team, affectionately known as the Highlighters, serves Old Town Kern with consistency, care, and dedication. Through regular outreach and beautification efforts, the Highlighters pick up trash, care for shared spaces, and build meaningful relationships with those living on the streets. While in the community, the team connects individuals to sobering centers, recovery stations, and other critical resources, meeting people where they are and walking alongside them with compassion and commitment. This work reflects Be Finally Free’s belief that lasting change is built through presence, hard work, and consistent care.
