What: Face behind the Mask sheds light on the silent battles many people carry often intensified by addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and poverty. We invite you to remove the masks we wear, come together, and support one another on the journey to healing. Guests will enjoy dinner, musical entertainment, inspiring stories, and a mask contest celebrating creativity and meaning. Businesses and individuals can partner with BFF through event sponsorship, which includes recognition, marketing benefits, VIP seating, merchandise, and more. All proceeds support Be Finally Free’s mission to provide life skills classes, homeless outreach, and enhanced care management for those impacted by justice involvement, substance abuse, poverty, and homelessness.

The Face Behind the Mask Masquerade Ball is all about the different faces we show in our lives. Some of us have struggles we don’t talk about, while others show a happy, carefree side. This event is a chance to celebrate both our hidden battles and our joyful moments, reminding us that everyone has their own story behind the mask.
At Be Finally Free, we see these different faces every day. The people we work with often come to us wearing masks of resilience, hiding their pain and struggles. We aim to help them shed these masks and embrace their true selves, whether they’re battling addiction, facing homelessness, or rebuilding their lives after incarceration. The Masquerade Ball reflects our belief that beneath every mask, there is a story of hope and transformation, and together, we can uncover and celebrate these powerful journeys.
The evening includes
- Mask Contest: Showcase your creativity and compete for the title of the most stunning mask of the evening.
- Music: Dance the night away to a professional DJ that will keep you on your feet.
- Gourmet Food: Savor an exquisite selection of culinary delights prepared by top chefs.
- Silent Auction: Bid on exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds supporting our cause.
- Participation: Two “Interesting Men Who Cook” slots, including aprons.
